Data Files and Folders
FTDXRC stores the user-specific application settings in the Windows Registry and uses a couple of data files. The data files are stored in two different (hidden) folders of your computer.

call.dat | Allocation of exception callsigns to DXCC entities. Automatically generated after each new update of cty.dat. | |
callarea.dat | Call areas of larger countries displayed in DX Cluster panel and Log Book. | |
country.dat | DXCC entities and WAE countries. Automatically generated after each new update of cty.dat. | |
cty.dat | Big CTY from country-files.com/big-cty/. It is maintained by Jim Reisert, AD1C. Thanks Jim! This callsign and country file can be downloaded from country-files.com or in FTDXRC Log Menu > Download Data Files... | |
dxccentity.dat | List of all current and deleted DXCC entities, names and ADIF codes. This file can be downloaded in FTDXRC Log Menu > Download Data Files... | |
menu_ft2000.dat | All transceiver menu items for the FT-2000. Do no edit! | |
menu_ftdx5000.dat | All transceiver menu items for the FT DX 5000. Do no edit! | |
prefix.dat | Allocation of prefixes to DXCC entities to determine the entity and CQ zone of some countries. Automatically generated after each new update of cty.dat. | |
telnetclusters.dat | A list of many available DX Telnet clusters. This list is not maintained but can be edited with any text editor. |
